The search for the perfect first Halloween costume!

OK so when Halloween started to creep up on me, I had to think what would be the best costume for Brennen's first one. I LOVE Halloween, it has always been a fun and relaxing holiday for me so it is one of my favorite. I also love to play dress up! So, I thought long and hard on what he would be, keeping in mind he is only going to be 8 months but he thinks he is older. So really, the lion and teddy bear kind of things were out. Even though they are soo cute. Well I finally came up with the perfect costume. If anyone know Brennen they know he would make the perfect Indiana Jones!!!! Only problem is that they do not sell a costume in infant sizes, so I had to put it together myself. I didn't think it would be difficult, but I was so so wrong. I had no idea how hard just finding a infant khaki shirt would be. I finally figured something out for that. Now all I have left to get is the jacket. I came across the perfect one online at bay gap. Only problem was that it was a little much for what I wanted to pay. So I decided to look around some more. Well, I found NOTHING. I went back to get the jacket and they were sold out!!! Now I am jacket less and Halloween is sneaking up and i just can not find a jacket that looks like Indiana Jones. I am getting a little worried! I will just have to keep looking. So if anyone knows of one let me know!! No matter, I think B will love it and look amazing! We are going to have a blast!!

Sick, sick, sick...

OK, about a week ago Brennen caught what seemed like a little cold. Mild fever, runny nose, but he was not to fussy. I gave him some Tylenol but didn't take him to the doctor. Like the third day he started to rub his ear so I was worried about an ear infection. However, the next day the symptoms seemed to be improving. Threw the week he was fine but, not sleeping very well at all. Well last night he woke up crying around three and would not stop, not for anything. He fell asleep for his nap crying and woke up again crying. He was running another fever so I thought it was about time I took him in. Not only was it the first time to the doctor, other than his check ups, its was his first real illness. lone behold he had an ear infection. The doc said it was a nasty one. I hope it is one of few for him because I learned they are not very fun. Another first for us! My poor baby!
